Now That's a set of Duals.........

How 'bout these?

Oh, my achin' back! Pop said the happiest day of his life was the day Harvey Firestone came by the farm and changed out the steel wheels on Grandpa's Fordson to rubber tires.

The 70 on tip toe wasn't around very long before it got traded for one on 8x40 rubber. The duals came soon after. Being one of the only tractors in the neighborhood,it did a lot of custom work and bounding down the road got old in a hurry.

My dad used tractors with steel wheels like the ones on the JD rrlund posted.he told me they still got stuck
in the rice fields here in south La.where we farmed it was once swampland.later on tracked
combines even got stuck!

I guess you would call them "tip toe duals"? First I had seen that lash-up- thanks for posting the picture.
