I have a Ford New Holland 9030 bidirectional that the pto will not shut off. It haa a cable to engage and disengage but it seems that if I adjust it, it will do just the opposite of what I'm wanting....Is there a clutch brake that needs to be replace and if so has anyone here done it? Thanks.

You can go to the parts books and check that out. Go to newholland electronic parts. Then search your model. The pto breakdown is under "transmission". It looks like there was a mechanical clutch and a hydraulic clutch available. I've had the hydraulic clutch apart and there is a break band on that one. No fun to get in or out. In the mechanical clutch I see there is a drag break. That should get tighter if you adjust the engagement lever toward the center of the tractor. I'm just guessing though.
