IPM and Farm Machinery Show.

Went to the International Plowing match today, didn't watch any of the Plowing, not into that....could never be that good anyway. Kinda disappointed in the way the show is going....becoming more of a market place for consumer goods. Sure, lots of new machinery, but very little grain handling stuff like bins, dryers silos, augers few seed dealers, very little cattle or dairy equipment. Guess all that stuff is at demonstration type farm shows where actual machinery trials take place. Did see a very rare Farmall Super M6...... Ben

Last IPM that I went to was in Peterborough County , and I thought it had just become a big flea market then . Only local dealers brought in tractors or equipment , the parent companies did not run displays like they did back in the 70's . Lots of chain saws and 4 wheelers .

So is there really one of these factory made or is it a farmer retrofit like a super HTA that is around Perham MN? I am curious which six cylinder motor it is.

If you can get away long enough I think you would like the Outdoor Farm Show. It is like the old Plowing Match show. They have worked hard to keep the consumer goods vendors out and have a section dedicated to livestock products. I haven't been for several years but always enjoyed it.

Been there several times, if your in the market for a purchase, it's the show to go to. School bus driving cuts into my day, though. Ben :(
