I was out bush hogging today and my tractor stopped running after about 10 minutes under load. It did the same thing the other day. I noticed the other day it turned over after sitting for a few minutes. I am new to this. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You need to do some simple trouble shooting.
If it is a gas engine then do these things

#1 check that you have a good blue/white spark that will jump a 1/4 inch gap to the center wire of the distributor cap and at all 4 plug wires.
#2 pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in under 3 minutes.
Do these thing as soon as it dies and do them in the order I put so as to be less likely to cause afire hazard

Post back what you find

I let the tractor sit for a little bit, bout 30 minutes. I got it started again (hard start) let it warm up again and while idling it stopped running again.

After sitting a few minutes it started up and ran a few minutes idling. It ran rough when it was idling
before it stopped running.

Cole I bought the tractor off a guy who bought it from the original owner. I don't know how old the injector pump is but it looks original if that's possible. When I test drove the tractor it ran good with no issues. When I put a load on the tractor, my brush cutter, this is when I started having the issue.

Make sure the cap on the fuel tank is venting properly (when it dies out take the fuel cap off, if you hear it suck air when taking the cap off, get a new cap). On one of the fuel filters there should be a small metal line running from the top of the filter housing to the fuel tank (make sure the fitting on top of the filter housing a long with the metal line going to the tank is not blocked/clogged up). How old are the fuel filers? (if they look like they look old replace them). If it has NAPA/WIX fuel filers, or if you are replacing the old filters with NAPA/WIX fuel filters see picture below.

PT thanks. I have only found one fuel filter. The one I found it looks fairly new. I will try that on the
fuel cap.
