Watch out for those nasty combines with attached implements!

She got it center-punched pretty nicely. Hard to get them right in the middle like that. Takes practice.

Wholly Molly, the combine was parked in the sakes lot and the gal managed to dead center and demolish a $100,000 draper header with her
car.

Cell phone involved?

She hit the right side reel. There are two 20 foot reels on that head. MacDon used to make CIH headers, they might still make them for CIH. I'm out of the loop on that stuff now.

We had a combine operator snag the end of a 40 foot MacDon on a utility pole guy wire while going wide open down the road at night. It spun the 45000 pound combine around sideways in the road and took the pole with heavy three phase wires down. There was no damage to the feeder house on the combine and only minimal damage to the feeder house adaptor on the head. MacDons are well made. Another combiner did practically the same thing to a Deere 36' draper only he hit a ditch bank along a road and it irreparably bent the head back on one side.

(quoted from post at 09:07:45 09/23/16) I don't know any details but judging by the names involved I'd say it was more likely alcohol.

Growing up near the res in SD that was my first thought also....but maybe they were just distracted by the pipeline in ND :D

If they had insurance (and that's a real big "IF") most likely its minimum liability or $25,000 in SD. The dealership just lost over $75,000.
