Republic show part 3

This is the last of my pics. I tried to get a bit of everything but I am sure there is a lot I missed.

Paul - Thanks. I spent better part of two days there, and didnt see it all by any means. Did not see most of what you covered in your pictures. IMHO, that Republic show is The Best. Not to mention, the late evening vintage-tractor-snort pulling contest, dragging the old fashion man/woman-step-on-sled. .

NICE PICS I was there 6 days hanging out with the Ferguson club. I considered joining but like Groucho Marx figured I would belong to no club that would allow the likes of me as a member lol. It was really a nice small show with a whole mess of different steam engines. My sandwich boards describing Ignition and Generator Troubleshooting were inside the Ferguson building. I was impressed most by the big Hot Tube fired (no mag, no igniter, no wires, no electric powered ignition whatsoever) two cylinder two cycle (but idled like it was 4, 6, or 8 cycle) gas engine, the self propelled two Wisconsin engine powered hay baler, that Allis pictured above, and the antique trucks on display.

Wish I would have known you where there John. I would have loved to met you. I made a bunch of trips up through the RVs. I am guessing you may have been in one of those.

That must be a nice show, lots of nicely restored/ painted stuff of all kinds, like the Oliver/spreader combo.

Paul Shuler,

Great photos. Love the spreader/Oliver doodlebug with a pew for the seat. :)
Also the Allis Chalmers. Thanks for posting your pics.

Looks like a great show. Wish shows were in September in our area, instead of July and August when it's hotter than hot.
