Metal stands under perferated bin floor - how to stagger????

I have a pile of metal stands and flooring ready to go into a bin. Have done three floors in the last ten years, but for the life of me I can't remember exactly how you stagger the stands underneath the flooring planks. I know the more rings the bin has the more stands you need. This floor came out of a seven ring bin and is going back into a seven ring bin, so I know I have enough metal stands. Just need to know how they are placed/staggered throughout. My thought is probably every two feet across a plank and when installing the next plank make sure the stand is not lined up with the prior planks stands. Any ideas to help jog my memory will be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Without digging out my books, I would say count up your stands, draw a little picture, and lay them out accordingly. As I recall, they end up in rows, not scattered about, so that the stands for every other plank line up. A chalk line on the concrete will help keep them lined up.
