In the post below, someone made the statement about Root Knot Nematodes and or needle nematodes. I've worked construction or maintenance in oil refineries, chemical plants all my life. Therefore I have not a lot of knowledge on some things. My question, is this an insect, fungus or plant? What does it look like? Can I use it for bait? :),

I do live on a creek, maybe one day Lake Colombia, but I don't think so. They were building a lake here back in the 50's. They just change the name.
