got a chance to buy a T5C Terramite. 2WD, 20 HP Kohler, SN 2050408, 1886Hr on meter. excellent shape, no leaks, all bushings are tight, straight bucket and great tires. needs new muffler, bottom seat cushion. Can you tell me what year it is by the SN? Also what is it worth? He wants $8K. thanks, AL K.
 
Call terramite 1 800 428 3772 for year. They are very helpful. I don't know of any dealers. I call them for parts,ups. I get my hydraulic rebuild kits from them, Around $50 plus shipping. I put a John Deere seat on mine. Got or off craigslist. Mufflers can be bought off eBay, around $200. LocL hydraulic shop makes my hoses.

A new kohler from small engine warehouse is around $2k tax and shipping. I have 1700 hours on my kohler, still running strong.
Down side, no dealer, you have to be your own mechanic, easy to work on.

Look for oil leaks all over, check for worm pins,steering,

Typically in good shape, 9 to $12k.

Check eBay for idea what they are selling for.

I think they are great for yard work,landscaping.

Terramites are built near Charleston WV. I used to live 10 miles from the factory. I have worked on many of these machines.They are tough. simple machines. DO NOT USE HYDRAULIC OIL IN THEM, They are designed for motor oil in the hydraulics. They do have dealers. There is one not far from me ,but they will sell to you direct also.

George, I do not have a dealer list. They say to call them and they will tell you who the
nearest dealer is.The dealer near me sells Kubota, Bobcat and Terramite.
