My brother and I were driving by some corn today, the grass and weeds right next to the first row was dead, My brother asked me if you can spray the Roundup directly on the corn plant, or just after it's been planted in the ground as a seed, I said I didn't know. So which way is it you can spray Roundup right on the corn plant and it doesn't kill it, Or just spray round up when you're seeding it?

You can spray it on the corn plant directly. The plant is resistant to the spray at all stages. I wouldn't spray it when it is tasseling or silking though. No reason to, the weeds would be controlled long before that stage.
