Started work on Case 831C restoration.Switched out the rear rims and tires from the old 930 wheatland, and preped them for paint and got them into matalic silver paint.
Suffered a setback trying to get the RH rear rim off the wheel on the 831. It was original to the tractor and was rust welded to the cast wheel. Finall took the bottle jack off my 12T pipe bender and layed it between the drawbar assy. and rim and jacked it off. Still bent the rim a bit, but when I'm done the doner tractor is headed for the salvage yard. I have 2 good tires and rims for the 830. Today I picked up the new 750x 16 front tires for the 831 and got two rims painted to mount them on. I had an extra front rim with the NF pedistal that I installed.
Stripped off all the Desert Sunset sheet metal and fuel tank and getting ready for the last couple of washes, before paint.
The wifey has been real busy takeing care of the garden, and the freezer and pantry are filling up for the winter.
Sorry last pic is out of order, I didn't want to upload the first time around.

(quoted from post at 19:03:37 07/25/16) Why did you plant them?Ultradog and Oldtanker are telling us they are no good! lol

Larry, for your information we have not been arguing with you as to why they are no good..........we have just been explaining why we are right!

Rick, Are you the guy that stole all my squash seeds out of the ground after I planted them??? I wasn't happy to have to replant them.

A 930 wheatland would atract more people at a show than the one you are working on. That is the one I think you should restore but it probably did not come from your dealership.
