ballpark weight concrete tiles?

acquired 3 lengths of concrete tile, 30 inches in diameter and 10 feet long each. i'd guess the concrete is 3 to 4 inches thick. they were old storm sewer tiles. any idea what these things weight? not sure if my backhoe will pick them up off the trailer when i get home.

I figured that if you unrolled them each one might be about 8'x10', and at 4" thick times 150 pounds per cubic foot that gives 3960 pounds. I made several assumptions but i think this might be a tolerably in-the-ballpark guess.

Should be about 380 to 400lbs a ft, so around 4000lbs or a little more if they have a bell on them. Better have a stout backhoe or be setup to parbuckle them

Not sure if your trailer has sides or not. If possible don't dead lift them. Pick one end and set it on the ground then pick the other end. About 1/2 the weight that way. We pick logs all the time that weigh to much for our log truck to deadlift. Easier on the equipment that way also.

well i got em loaded, they used a lull rough country fork lift. made my dump trailer squat!! gonna be too heavy for my backhoe by itself. may need to get some neighbors involved with some additional loaders. i will prolly have them just lift the tile enough and i can drive the trailer out from under em.

Yup you can't lift them with your backhoe. You could pick one end up and then roll it on a pipe to not drag the paint off the floor of your trailer. Or rent a telehandler when you are ready to set them. A good chain around them will let you set them where you want with less fuss.
