Raked , baled, and wrapped 101 bales of second cut , off of 32 acres. Sprinkled rain off and on while I wrapped.

Does wrapping in the rain wreck the wrapping job? I don't have any experience with single bale wrappers, but I usually hire someone to wrap 100 or so bales in a row with a tubeline type wrapper. I understood wrapping in the rain wrecks the seal of the plastic.

That self loading wrapper looks like it would save a lot of time wrapping. Plus you can get the bales wrapped ASAP too. Bruce you have a nice set of hay making equipment!!!

(quoted from post at 04:14:47 07/25/16) How do you move them after they are wrapped? Do you make holes in the wrap with a bale spear?

Hydraulic grabber in place of the bucket.

Just curious, but I seem to remember you bought a new CIH baler a year or to ago. Did you not have good luck with it, or just time to trade? Callaghan's treat you that well?

Wanted to up grade to a baler with knives in it . Wanted chopped straw , and didn't want to buy a straw chopper, and make another job for my self too. Bought the CaseIH baler in 2013. I never had a seconds trouble with that baler, and got most of what I paid for it back on trade allowance. Didn't get the new baler from Challahan's , bought from Doble's in Sunderland, they are closer to my farm , and the Coop feed mill is a place I seem to need to go regularly, and Doble's is on the way. Been dealing at Doble's for over 30 years. Bruce
