F 1 Danuser Auger

Have one that some one butchered the lower mounts by putting a 3pt draw bar across the gap ,this blocks the pto shafts range of motion when being lifted, making it unuseable.
Googled Danuser for a parts breakdown, not availabe ( too old I guess) . Any one in this brain trust have one, would be able to post some pictures of the lower mounting, or a parts diagram? Thanks Dane.

First call Danuser directly. I have always had excellent dealings with them. They DO make parts for just about anything they ever made. I sold a hitch saddle several years ago so it was available then. I do not remember the price.

Thanks, JDseller, the one I have must be an early production model. The 3pt hitch system requires a 3rd link and has tierod ends at the gear box.I would post picture, but don 't have the where with all to do so. I will contact them to see if they can help.Dane.

Roaddevil,if you have the one I think you have ,most mounting parts aren't avalible, but Danuser has or makes a KIT to update yours. Those were made to only mount on Fords or Fergusons in the 40s-50 -early 60s and sold under the "DEARBORN" NAME.Call or write them and they can send you all the info needed to update yours. They were a 5 point mount, not 3 point.

Roaddevil here is a picture of the one I think you have. It would depend on how messed up the mount you have is weather I would fix it or replace it with a newer style bracket. I converted one 30 years ago for a fellow that bent the sliding tubes. I just cut the tubes about a foot lower than the top tie rods and welded the stubs into a cross frame. I then just copied making the newer style hitch. If you can cut and weld it is not hard to do. It does not have to have the complicated sliding mount like the original.

masset333 has it correct in that the old style was sold under the Dearborn name IRC.
