Have a Troy-Bilt horse with SN 95335 that the web says is 1991. Anyway 7 hp BS I/C recoil start with bumper and lug tires. Hi-Lo trans and forward/reverse. I believe it's in good shape. Little use and stored inside. Anybody know a value? Selling and don't want to overprice or cheat myself by selling low. Can't find a book value. Thanks.

I had one just like that, but considerably older. I pretty much got all the goody out of it and just gave it away to get it out of my way.

I would value yours at about $500. Less if you want to move it fast.

I would agree, that is middle of the road for these and certainly fair for what you get in one of these.

Locally, and they were made here,(yours was), there are many of them around and they can go from $100 running to $1000 in well kept/maintained condition.

This tiller had a 6 hp Tecumseh and I sold the engine for $65.00 and I installed a 10 hp B&S engine with electric start. I should sell it since
I'm 83 and have cut way back on the size of garden. I even bought a new black Troy built tiller and everyone wanted to buy it so I sold it. Hal

i bought a red power horse, about 4 years ago, 11 hp industrial briggs on it it had very low run time and came with a chipper attachment which had never even been mounted, the man i got that from took 300 for it, i thought it was a smokin hot deal

Nice ones around here sell in the 500 buck range. I saw a faded one sell last week for
250.

You'll should have no trouble selling it for $350. You can price high and always come down. People who know them will pay $350 no problem.

Not a good time of year to sell tillers for top dollar. I don't disagree with the range of values posted. Ones sold at auction in similar shape brought $300-400 but that was back in the spring. You will find that they are not a hot item this time of year. None the less it should sell quickly at $350 if ready to use, looks good and good tines, you might get some lookers at $500. Go to your local Craig's List and punch in "Troy tiller" to see whats out there and what people are asking, but remember that asking abnd getting is two different things.
