8N starter drive bendix teeth shattered within flywheel hous

I just had the teeth on the drive bendix of the starter on an 8N shatter and almost all of the teeth are in the flywheel housing. What is the possibility of those teeth causing a problem? Do they need to be removed?

Ford left a lot of room in the bell housing so if a starter drive fell off it would ride in that area for years. Or in other words not at all likely to cause any problems I have found stuff like that in more then one when splitting to do a clutch

Nope, not yet lol, usually just the usual carnage from clutches failing and clutch bearings coming apart.

A piece of the starter nose cone is laying in my Oliver 1550. Every now and then it'll slide against the flywheel and make the darndest squeal you've ever heard.
