On our van the fan for the heater/air conditioning may just stop. Turn the van off and re-start it and all is fine. Is there a relay in the circuit or where should I look? Thanks in advance. J.

Wonder if it is going bad.....had one do that and without stopping and restarting but giving the fan motor a sharp rap it would start. Changed out the motor and all is good.

If manual A/c put test light on blower connector if both hot its not grounded though resistor or control. No power ck ignition switch.Power in but not out need new blower motor. Ck when not working. From memory{bad I know}it does not use a relay.

I assume this a caravan? If so there is not a blower motor relay, at least not serviceable, its built into the TIPM which is a big module that controls many electronic systems, this module is part of the under hood fuse box.

Next time it quits, tap on the blower motor and see if it starts up, also check the connections at the motor and speed resister, the resister goes into the HVAC case beside the blower motor. If you have a test light, see if you have power at the blower motor when it quits. If you have power there then the TIPM and pwr circuit is good. The speed resister and speed selector switch is on the ground side.
