O/T. Pickup tires

I need new rears for my 98 Dodge 3500 dually 2wd long frame. 215 85R 16. Any suggestions? I have browsed through a few of the online tire dealers but I don't know any more now than I did when I started. This pickup doesn't see many miles per year and is rarely loaded heavy so I don't need a top of the line tire, just traction. It's not the best in deep snow so a little more aggressive tread is what I have in mind. Thanks.

I have used BF Goodrich on my 2005 Dodge 2500 SRW and got 100,000 out of each set. 340,000 on it today.

I must be doing something wrong!! If I can get 20,000 out of a set of tires I feel really happy. I thought it was because I always had a trailer on behind my 3/4 ton, now
that I have a 1 ton dually, I got 30,000 out of the last set. Guess if I used them like a car instead of a pickup, I might get more miles out of a set of tires.
I have tried about every brand and keep going back to Firestone Transforce A/T.

I got about 20,000 out of these Wranglers I have on it now. The tread is getting down but yesterday a big old bulge developed in the tread on one of them.

I had Michlins on the Dodge Ram 4x4 when purchased. Only was able to get 95k miles out of them.

Replaced with a less expensive brand so we will see.

I put the Firestone Trans Force on my dually. I rarely go off road, so I am happy with them. If traction was a big concern, I would probably have chosen something a bit more aggressive.

When I needed tires for my Dakota the only company that made a high traction tire for snow that I needed for traction was General Grabber. My size is 215-75R-15, don't know about your size. Don't put that many miles on but they surived getting the truck totalled and are now on its replacement.

I don't need super aggressive traction, I might burn a couple of tanks of fuel all winter but since this thing is not 4wd and a dually with only a flatbed for weight I would like to have a more aggressive tread than A plain all season tread can give.

I had a 2001 D-350 2wd dually and the Michelins I had on it got 85,000 miles, yes 85000 miles so guess what went back on it

Don't feel like the lone ranger ! I can't get tires to last on any of our cars or trucks ! I think we drive "normal" ?

What I hate about tire companies and recommending what once was a good tire to someone or myself for replacements soon gets redesigned under the same name or gets called something else and they are not the same.
Tires will make a HUGE difference in traction. I have a 1 ton dually 2wd and when I put on the now discontinued or replaced ? B.F. Goodrich traction kings it was like night and day ! I had 2 sets of these on different trucks. Last set I tried were ordered in and tread was different design and they were no longer any good !

What do you guys think of Hankook Dynapro AT? Son has them on his pickup. I like the tread. They are priced about mid-range.
