I am thinking about buying a sickle mower for my B1750 Kubota. Anybody run a 7ft on a B1750. I don't need the cutting width as bad as I need the reach for cutting banks and around ponds. I am not interested in speed. I have a bigger tractor but keep a backhoe on it so dont want to use it.

dunno this mower, but my two horses pull a ground driven 5 foot or 6 foot mower. Most any tractor should be able to handle a seven foot mower. kelly

Hi a 7' bar maybe a little too much for that size tractor my brother has a Yanmar 1510D and a 7' was too much it pulled the front over so he cut the bar off at 5' and it works good now, I have a 5' on my Earthmaster and it handles it good but 7' would be too much, power is not the issues it keeping the tractor driving straight good luck

I mowed hay for 25 years with a semi mounted 7' sickle mower on my JD H. That tractor had 13hp and weighed about 2500#, so I think you'd be ok if the mower is adjusted right and the ledgers and knives are sharp.

In the old days they used to run a 7 foot sickle mower on an A Farmall. A sickle mower doesn't require much for ponies or weight

banks & around ponds"? Many mowers can not operate at much of an angle at all. Other designs can. Be sure you buy what you need.
