One of those days

If it ain't already broke, it doesn't work anyway. Got all of the second cutting in today in spite of everything. Jeff just finished up bagging and I'm sitting here slowly banging my head against the wall...........and it feels sooooo good. It's relieving the headache. Sat in the grass for a few minutes and a couple of the pullets ran up and sat down on my lap. Even the chickens feel sorry for us today. (chuckle)

Is there room for me to bang my head too? I got the re cored radiator back in the 2-105 yesterday afternoon, rolled up 107 round bales today and the throw out bearing or something was progressively making more and more noise every time I'd stop to put the twine on a bale. I brought it home, got the 2-135 and rolled up the last 55 bales or so. No sense running it until it won't go anymore.
Do you know how to get the fuel tank out from under the cab to lift the engine out of one of those things?

It sure looks easy from the road doesn't it? All anybody will see is 160 round bales in the field and will think that I had a great day.

You fellers can keep your problems out east, things have been rolling smooth this year so far! You could send some rain, a little to dry yet!

Dang Randy , that is a shame . I know how it goes , I have a tractor here that I have put more into , than I paid for the darn thing. And it still isn't perfect, but will do some work. And you are right , going by on the road , it all looks so easy.

Every single machine and implement I used this week broke. Some twice if you count flat duals the day after I got the new water pump in. Now a thermostat is sticking on that machine. I shutter to think what the tab at John Deere looks like. I just remind myself what it would cost if someone else did those repairs. As my mom told me hundreds of times, "You know, you are stupid enough not to realize when you can't to something, smart enough to do it, and wise enough to say never again!"
