Recharging the hydraulic belt tension on Vermeer baler

My 505 super I has the optional hydraulic belt tension system on it. There was/is a way to recharge the system with some adaptors and by connecting into the hydraulics for the rear gate. I have the connectors, but I can't remember where/how to hook them in to use the tractors hydraulics to accomplish the recharge. Anybody know how this is done? Advice is much appreciated.

On JD balers and most hydraulic systems, with everything plumbed up, ready to go, you just move the hyd lever back and forth with the engine running and the system will cycle fluid in and air out. It won't move initially and then you'll notice a tad of movement and more and more till you have full control.

Remove cylinder bolts from both tension cylinders at tension arm.
You then need to raise tailgate and block up. Tension cylinders can be cycled, by attaching a hose to gage hose and to hose going in bottom of tension valve, hook up these to a remote, the cylinders may need to be leaned away from the baler to clear the tension arm and get full extension. Cycle cylinders in and out fully 10-12 times leaving at end fully retracted. Reverse procedure to re-install. Check charge by making a mark on ram at cylinder and raise tailgate, watch pressure guage. As soon as the needle moves
check how far ram moved, a good charge is anything under 1/2".

Thank you! That should do the trick. I just couldn't remember the process. I'll write it down right in my manual now.
