I went and got some barley straw for the pond

the butcher house at the old farm,, I got three sides done last fall,today I primed the front of the building

The basement door of the little house is in pretty good shape,but the door will not hold paint, I had some red metal so I covered the door with metal and screwed it on

Everything is looking good. Those cauliflower heads and the new spuds sure look great!


I don't envy that walk into the pond. When I was a kid, we had a couple swimming holes that were withing walking distance... that's some gushy, slippery stuff.
