Wild and Windy

We had wind warnings here today and I don't know what it hit but it was some kind of wild out in the open. The sun came out but it was cool in the sixties. The kind of day that the crop sprayer stays parked. Better luck tomorrow. Took the Merc out for a drive to look at the fields today. Made for some picturesque backgrounds with those big white clouds in the sky.

Did you get any rain yesterday and last night, Rusty? We had 1.3 inches in storms and it looks like more southwest of here. Starting to see water laying in the fields now, hard to believe after such a dry winter and early spring. The wind is relentless.

No not much last night. maybe a tenth or so. Had an inch last week and an inch week before so we have enough. Hard to get a day that is not
too windy to run the sprayer.

Wow! That is way too hot for me. It was in the 60s when I took the photos yesterday and the strong wind made it feel a bit cold. The heat from the old flathead and air cooled Mercomatic coming through the firewall felt ok.

Send some of that to us here in Maine would ya? Some of us are wondering what is the point of having AC when the days wont get above 73F.

Global warming???? Whats that? Come live in Maine!
