Fertilizer question

I wanted to get a couple of fields of soybeans planted ahead of predicted thundershowers which I did. The fertility is decent (tested) but I was thinking of broadcasting some potash and phosphate that showers would wash in at some point in the near future. I know it is best if worked in but thinking the rain should take in far enough. Anybody spread after the beans break the crust if a person can't get there before they break through?

P & K will work fine spread on top. Nitrogen will evaporate if you do not get rain soon enough. I would rather have the beans planted and then spread the fertilizer over a late planted a crop.

If I did that intentionally in an effort to make it rain it would never work. It sprinkled around noon time for about ten minutes then the sky cleared. It's just as well that I finished planting as I have had physical issues this spring and did not want to wake up tomorrow morning needing to see the doctor about my left wrist, right arm, back, etc.. instead of planting when the chance for thunderstorms is supposed to be greater.
