PTO jumps out

Any suggestions on what model it is? (just kidding) That does make a difference in some
cases.

If it is a transmission driven PTO, the mechanical dog or spline clutch is worn and pushes its self apart. If it is a
clutch or band type the adjustment or mechanical lever constraints may be worn. If hydraulic application, the hydraulic
servo might be blown, disks worn, or pressure insufficient. Jim

Real hard for us to help you help your self with out knowing what tractor you have.
The fix for an Oliver 77 would be different then one for a Ford 8N and the fix for a Farmall 450 would be different also etc etc etc.

I don't think you're building enough hydraulic pressure to keep the clutch pac engaged, at least that's what was wrong with mine
