Update on 24 / 26 battery

The group 26 spins the MH44 over nicely with the gear reduction starter, I do not see a need to upsize to group 24, even though it looks tiny in there. All the other batteries on my equipment are this size, so I will have spares when one fails.

I did not know this till this week

they make group numbers that end with a R

26R reversed terminals from a 26

I knew the difference from a 24/24F the terminals are reversed...

I ran into that on a motorcycle battery this spring, I needed what I called a left hand. I think the number had an L after it. I couldn't find one locally, ordered online, here in 3 days, works great.

Hmmm... I have a group 24 in my WD, and it really doesn't fit in the battery box. But it sure has cranked it over good for years.
