News flash, I put a metal roof over my
cement mixer. Hoping it doesn't leak. Geo

Looks like you have room for a riding lawn mower next to that mixer. By the way that one looks just like the mixer I have out back but the motor has locked up on my mixer

Supports your theory that one big gust of wind the whole roof will be gone. In this situation I do believe shingles would be the only way to go.

Good idea.
A guy I know does that with his riding mower at the lake near me.
Has a rope on the front of the boat hooked to a pulley on a tree branch. Pulls the rope and hooks it off to hold the boat up. Gets on the mower and drives out.

Bill in Il,
Thanks for your concern. I attached a bungee cord to mixer to keep my roof from blowing off. Good idea. If roof leaks, I'll know the next time I go fishing.

Don't you think I would ruin the boat attaching shingles? Bill, get with it, Times are changing.

Bruce,
Aluminum is the metal of choice in Florida. Rust colored red is metal of choice in Terre Haute.. There are hundred of roofs that look like this and worse. So, I figured I'll never have to worry about it rusting using aluminum. Might dent in a hail storm. geo

Steve,
No idea. My boy bought it used when he was in HS about 20 years ago. He left it with me. Noice I put hard rubber wheels on the back. Put a hitch on the front so I can pull it down to the lake in gravel pit behind the kawasaki mule. I call it a boat/trailer combo. Now it's a boat/trailer/roof combo.

No plans to make it look nice. It would just encourage a creap to steal it. geo
