Finally got to planting.

Been raining almost steady for 3 weeks. Not enough to amount to anything, just enough to keep it damp. Got 1/4" yesterday and the same day before. Just got a couple sprinkles so far today. Got the peas/barley for forage and as cover for alfalfa done. Should get the corn in this weekend. The video is of the 2394 that I overhauled the engine in a couple years back, every time I run it a day and it doesn't fall apart I'm pleasantly surprised. Lol.

Plowing

Every time I get to the point of thinking I can roll "tomorrow afternoon",it rains again. I stopped at the fertilizer plant this morning and told them to bring a load out tomorrow,I might be able to go by Saturday afternoon. This afternoon, another line of showers rolled through.

Last summer was wet and cool here, my alfalfa partially winter killed, got late hard frost kill, and then came up with weeds.

A lot of fields around here look the same.

I would have just burned it off last fall and planted corn if I new.

Hey Jon,what do you think of this? The new used grill for the 2-105 got here from Wisconsin yesterday.

Are those cabs fairly quiet and tight?

I've always loved the looks of those beasts.

We did not get a drop of rain up here. The big farms by Falmouth have had the ground worked up for a while and Mon they 10 NH tractors hauling the tri axle spreaders working there way north. Behind them they had several disking up the fields after the manure and the planters were behind them. They had a NH and Case international tractors.. The big 4 wheel drive ones with dual all the way around

Looks good! Is that 2-105 the same tractor as the 2-85 but with a turbo? The 85 is a nice tractor except the hydraulic and 3pt levers should be longer. Sure drives nice and turns short for planting.

There hasn't been a rain that's missed me yet. Wait until July and August and see if that happens.

They had the lowest decibel level of any cab at the time. My Series 3 2-135 seems to be a little quieter than the early 2-105,but some of the window molding on the 105 is separated just a little and letting in some noise.
