Allis Chalmers 416

I need some help. I was working on the carborator and the valve rods in the carborator were worn, so I removed the throttle valve and went to get the choke valve out and the screws that hold it in broke. I've been trying to find out where I can get a new carb for it but it seems like no one heard of a 416. If someone has a rod and valve that is good I would be very happy. Or if someone knows where I could a new carb that would be even better

Look on this site under Allis Chalmers, in the carb sub category, there are carb kits listed by the brand and number. A "comprehensive" kit will have shafts and screws.

It may or may not have the choke shaft, but you can drill out the old screws if you are careful. When going back with the new screws, be sure to lock-tite them or brad the ends. Don't want one going into the engine!

I assume you are refering to the 416 garden tractor. I have a 416 shuttle and it is stuck in 2nd gear and I guess I will need to break it down. The 416 was actually built by AC for one year. Try IsaveTractors.com 207-929-0116.They handle parts for old Kohler engines.
