Have a 50 with underslung exhaust. The throttle lever is curved and the side panels are notched in lower corners toward engine. Any idea why it was set up like this or what it may have been used for?

I knew of one with a loader on it that had an under slung exhaust for getting in to barns, but that doesn't explain the other things.

Dunno where you are at, but bending the throttle lever like that is common when a "heat houser" is intalled.

Does it have power steering or not? Just a thought maybe notched to fit after market power steering. As for the bent throttle that's a new one we had heat Houser and the did get stuck into the canvas but nothing that created a problem.

I can't remember what kind it was but worked for a guy who had a 60 and that pump hung out the side. It wasn't the best it had a bad habit of locking up remember going off a hill with a full load of hay and the steering locked up and then 1 brake locked fun ride I think he took it off shortly after that

My uncle in Ohio had a 50 and a 70 and had both tractors modified so the throttle lever came out more toward the operator something like that. He lost most of his hand in a cornpicker accident, and it made it easier to down throttle by tapping it from above.
