Batteryminder 12248. Has 2, 4, and 8 amp charging rates. Good for all batteries, gel, AGM, and Flooded. It also desulfates. Bought mine 5+ years ago. Use it 24/7, if not charging, I'm desulfating batteries on a monthly bases. Extends the life of battery too. Can charge many batteries in parallel too. I charge 3 batteries in my dump trailer with it. If batteries are healthy, no problem. Won't work if one battery is sick.

I got mine off ebay. Shop around for cheapest price. 5 year warranty.

Chargers from TSC haven't last long for me, I now use Deltran Battery Tender and so far they hold but not a cheap charger.

Been using Schumacher brand we get from Orschelns farm supply store and have good luck with them. Have two that I have been using for 4-10 years. One has the 6V setting that I like for my old tractors, but it is 6A max and the other is 10A max so not fast charging.

your dump trailor takes three batterys? mine just takes one large battery thats what i mostly need the cgarger for.

I always get Schumacher. I just bought one that is "smart". It desulfates, charges all types of batteries, and can somehow check the charging system. I just hook it to batteries and walk away. I don't believe I would have just a smart charger. Sometimes if it is bitter cold it has trouble charging batteries. It will charge for a bit and then throw a bad battery code. If I charge it a but with the old charger then it gets it charging and the new one works fine. My old one is a 2/10/50 amp. When I use it I just put it on the two amp setting and leave it a good 24 hours.

I used a Schumacher for a long time until it wore out and replaced it with another and it was junk. It didn't last a week, took it back and the replacement only lasted a couple weeks. I then got my money back and bought a Harbor Freight charger and found it was junk. I then bought a Black and Decker charger that would only charge a battery if it was already charged. If the battery was run down for any reason it said it was sulfated or any number of things saying the battery was defective and shut down and wouldn't charge. Once you charge the battery 90% on another charger and then hook it the Black and Decker the battery was fine then and would charge. I finally took a hammer to it because I was tired of it telling me to go to H. Right now I'm only using the Harbor Freight float chargers. I won't buy another stupid "Smart Charger".

I bought a new charger about 40-50 years ago. Marquette, but I don't know the model. Friend also had one & he said you can boost with it until the fuse blows. Mine had been run over by a road grader at one time. I had to get new gauges & straighten the tin works but it came out OK & still works just fine. I recently bought a Super C with a 12 volt battery that was dead & frozen. After I found out the alternator was draining the battery, I thawed out the old one and used this charger off & on for days & it came out of it OK. Tractor hadn't been run for a couple years. Like they say, they don't build them like they used to.

I agree, I have this one on wheels, and a smaller hand held one, both Schmaucher.

Rick, when my large battery took a dump. I installed 3 smaller batteries that were sitting around. Works just fine for years. Not to take away from my post. Charger is designed to more than one battery at a time.

I had problems with burning out my charger so I built my own rectifier bridges using 50 amp diodes from an alternator. never had a problem after that.

We had an old international that was really good it finally died I've been buying the little shumacher brand that are about the size of a small lunch box the only thing bad about them was the clamps were cheap And they could not jump anything so I bought a big John Deere that I really like . Personally I do not like automatic chargers either when it's cold and you need to start something they don't work
