looking for shaft for winch on a td9 92 series dozer

:? hi im new at all this computer stuff so be patient with me please and I'm new to the td9 92 series that I bought. but anyway I'm trying to find a inch & three eights 6 spline shaft that goes from the winch to the shaft inside the dozer in the back. the winch is a carco I think if it matters.can anyone help me on this one. thanks
 
What is sticking out of your winch now. been a long time but I thought you only needed a female piece of pipe that slipped over the shaft in the dozer and OVER the shaft on the winch. Have you felt down in the bottom of the tractor maybe in there.
 
the drive shaft is in the dozer with 6 splines on it already and the winch has the part the shaft I need to slide into it. the shaft I need should be about 15/3/4 long.
 
can't be in the bottom theres gears in there. it just didn't have it when the guy gave it to me.
 
I believe the shaft you need is a Carco winch part.

FP Smith in Calif or General Gear in Id. may be sources for used.
You will need to determine the winch model first.

Darn.

A friend of mine scrapped out a couple of TD9s and a couple of TD6s about 3 years ago. He had at least 2 winches but I believe everything went to the melters.

I am in the process of purchasing a td9 with a carco winch on it that I'm thinking about selling would you be interested?
 
well I did contact fps and they told me they can't help me with that because it was a hot item. thanks for info.
 
well I don't need the winch just the shaft.but if you don't want to sell separate I could use the measerment of the shaft as to how long it is and how many splines should be 6 spline on winch and inside of dozer.thanks for any info.
