Sprayer wireing

I just moved my 30 gal sprayer from the Honda ATV to the bed of the Rhino. The rhino has a great dash mount power socket. Can I run wire from sprayer motor to a plug for that and then with no toggle switch simply pull the plug out when I want to stop spraying on turns and reversals etc, and push it back in to spray again? Would be convenient to pull the sprayer from the bed.

Check the amp draw of the pump motor first. Be sure the socket wiring and fuse can handle it.

Plugging it in and out under power won't hurt it.

It wouldn't be too hard to put a toggle switch inline, even a common everyday house type lightswitch.

I would use a switch to turn it off and on. wire the switch between the dash socket and the pump. Every time you plug and unplug it your going to get and arc which will eventually burn the connection. Is it easier to replace the dash socket or a switch?
