Jonquils are blooming on the AR/MO state line. It's been around 70 the last couple of days. A thunderstorm moved through this morning that left the ground covered in hail. Snow is predicted for Wednesday night.

Dandelions are up and we are even starting to see yard sale signs, a sure sign of spring. The sandhill cranes have been around here for about 2 weeks now but some are starting to move on north. Robins have been here since the middle of January.

And this is in south-central Indiana. Wait until High School basketball sectional or regional time. We can expect a big snow at that time.

Middle of february I'm out in a t-shirt painting parts on my tractor.

That aint right, but I'm not complaining.

Last year around this time there was three feet of snow on the ground with sub zero temperatures.

I can't help but worry tht mother nature's just saving up for us though, and we're going to get one of those long drawn out late winters.

We'll see.
