A while back someone was looking for a truck, I seen this on Milwaukee WI craigslist, I am just passing info along , don't know anything about
truck or owner Its Oshkosh M1070 $49800.00

You should see the trailer that truck is designed to pull. It carries tanks. Think it has 8 or 10 axles that all steer with 8 tires per axle.
 
One of my customers was looking. Guess I should have posted back, but he found a 2000 KW last Thursday up in the edge of VA. It has a 475 HP C15, single turbo CAT, so it's got plenty of power to do what he needs to do. It also had the dual wet line kit he needed for his two trailers. We had to do a few things over the weekend to get it ready for wide loads, and make a few tweeks here and there, but overall he got a really nice truck.

That said, the one in the pics above is an awesome truck, to say the least. Thanks for posting.
 
M1070 HET Heavy Equipment Transporter 9 axles total and a bunch of tires (28) to check.Used to haul thanks and the M88 tank retriever.
The older M-123 Truck, Tractor, 10-Ton 6X6 that pulled that same trailer,I use to drive one like that.

I use to drive the 10 tons a lot in Germany. Took schooling and got my lic on the 25 ton but after the training period I never drove one again. We hauled some 8 inch self propelled howiltzers from Peroria Ill to Ft Mc coy Wis twice and for that we used the 5 ton tractors with low boy trailers. Took 2 days to get there and had a police escort all the way
 
I really enjoy the military trucks. I was invited to a meeting at TARDEC (Tank and Automotive Command Research and Development Command) HQ to help them flesh out their "wish list" for an electronics suite for the next-next generation of trucks about 15 years ago. They had quite a bunch of whiz-bang trucks on the drawing board.
