Cannot tell you how many where made but they are not at all uncommon. They are based on a WC tractor just with the front cut off and the frame made longer and a blade mounted under them

The only orange (flambeau red) one I have. This is the first rubber tire tractor my dad and uncle bought.

Posted this one last year when you did the colors. Have more orange in the shed(most don't get used though :( ) then just this SC, don't have batteries for the camera otherwise I'd go out there and flash(in both sense of term) some more at you.

Seems my computer hates me tonight, can't work the pictures off of my hard drive. Oh well I link it over to the thread I posted asking about the colors. I posted this topic(back then) mainly as a curiosity(about the colors), secondly as an excuse to learn to post pictures.
Pictures

I have seen several of these with other tractors for for base power I remember seeing m/ih oliver ac wd 971 ford and I believe a 8n does anybody know who made the grader atachment

Black and white picture is my Dad with his WC Allis the day before I was born in 1953.....

This is the only orange tractor in my collection. It was done because my dad , father-in-law , Uncle and several brother-in-laws worked at Allis Chalmers and my grandfather and wife's grandmother worked at Rumley. This was at the LaPorte Works-LaPorte, Indiana.

Most of those are Adams aftermarket set up but the A/C was a factory made unit by A/C not an aftermarket set up like on the Farmall's etc. So not even close to what this machine is

That is a nice little dozer car. I imagine it would be a challenge on a silage pile lol.

One of 8 175 diesels I own, this one has just over 1400 hours on it, original rubber all around...over 40 years old!

Another purchase from last year, D15 diesel

I could bore you with a couple hundred other orange pics, but I won't.

:D :D

Some of mine starting with the dc my dad bought in 55 and I still use regularly.

There is more, but that should do it for now. Lol

This is ours, straight off of Grandpas farm. 1950 Allis Chalmers WD! Have no real use for it in Omaha, but not ready to part with it either!

This was a tractor pull at Montevideo Minnesota in 2012

(quoted from post at 21:33:29 02/08/16) Sure wish you guys would size your pics right. Everything is too big to evan look at.

Hold the "control" key down and hit the "-" key. You probably have your font set real big.

Here's a few more

My 200 Allis the day I bought it from Grandpa

Not the greatest picture, but my D-17 Series 4 on the elevator and Grandpa's 185 he bought new.

My 930.. More rust color than orange.

Better shot of the D-17 with snowplow mounted. Yes, it's a weird setup. The loader lift cylinders are set at that height, and the tilt cylinder does the raising and lowering. Going to do something different someday.

Not much orange left on her right now but I hope to remedy that this spring. If it looked half as good as it runs that would be one gorgeous Allis CA.
