Roosa Master DB Pump Throttle Shaft

I'm looking for a throttle shaft for a Roosa Master DBGFC 637 80AJ pump. It is on an Allis Chalmers D262 engine. I broke it when I lifted the engine with a chain.

I downloaded the Allis Chalmers parts manual from Minn Par and it looks like the part number is 74056488. Also need seal 74369878.

After a Google search, I don't see where I can get those parts. Anybody have a source?

Just to add and Im sure you already did, but make sure there isn't any other damage to the housing of the pump.

Yeah I did, it only snapped the throttle shaft. Of course I'll need the little seal and o-ring too.

Found a good used throttle shaft, E-mail is open on classic. Send me a message if you still need it with the seals too if you haven't found the parts yet..

Ok, email sent.

Well, I finally got my motor grader all put back together. I put two old parts machines together to make one good one, I hope.

I never could get any diesel out of the pump, so after talking to a buddy who's worked on these pumps before, told me that more than likely the two plungers were froze up after sitting (at least 10 years, prolly more) so long even though it was full of diesel.

I've got it all torn apart on my bench and he was right. The metering valve was stuck and so was the cam advance, and the rollers wouldn't roll either. The flex ring was completely gone except for some coffee grounds down in the cam advance mechanism and small remnants where it was attached to the rivets on the governor ring.

I'm waiting on the seal kit to put it back together. I've downloaded the parts and service manual too and studied both. I've watched YouTube videos for hours.

I hope to report back later in the week that I have it running.

Dieseltech, the throttle shaft fit perfectly. Thanks
