Can't post pics

Tried to post a pic for Larry's blue night, again for red night but click upload photo and nothing happens even though I'd chosen file and selected. It's an Apple, I've posted photos before; I'm not too computer savvy. What have I forgot now ?
 
Write your text,,then go down and click on upload photo. Then it will ask you to choose a file,go to your photo gallery and click on a picture. Choose your pic., it will then show it really small, click on upload photo it will then show a little larger pic on the right side. Then click on continue. Then go to preview your post. Then you should see your pic and text. Then click on post and your done. I have an apple I pad and this is how I do it.
 
Thanks welder; everything you explained is what I did but I don't get the "continue" to select.
 
it goes kinda slow sometimes i have to wait thirty seconds befoe the continue will show up.

You are lucky it only takes 30sec. I wait a couple mins. sometimes. I think that Time Warner has oversold their Roadrunner band width on the spurline that I am on. I spend more time watching little wheels turn than looking at pics. and videos. Getting to be time to threaten a switch and see if they will upgrade me for the same price. "Picture that!!!"

I have no problem with the continue button showing up. Almost instantaneously.

Now for the picture to upload to the YT server and post the address in the Optional Image URL box is a different story.
That takes from a few seconds to what seems like 30 seconds or even 60 seconds during peek times.

I have to blame this on the traffic at YT and slowing down their server because I have pretty fast internet of 65 mbps download and 4.3 mbps upload.
 
I found when I post pictures the load quicker in the early morning hours than during the day.
