Drug the discs over my newest field a few weeks ago. Really pleased with how it looks. Ready to be ripped up one more time in the spring before Oats go in!! Neighbor snapped a few pictures....

Couple of them show me pulling both 12 foot discs. Big M liked that.... :)

Did I mention how much I LOVE my Farmalls!!!!!! :)

When I got the H, I thought for sure I HAD to get a muffler on it, realized quickly that I liked the stack.

Got this M. ohhhhh man... Gonna have to get a bigger stack on it. Thinking of a muffled/swelled straight pipe like the truckers around here like... They sounds narly, but aren't THAT loud...

This one isn't really loud either, but the headphones pick up ROCK 103 in town, so, I like to listen to that!! :)

Sure do, but this one has decided to quite making oil pressure....

Time for some rod bearings, rings, and a reworked head...

Santa, are you listening. . . . . :)

b wish you the best luck Garmin and have a Merry Christmas . I have never tried pulling 2 disc narrows at the same time may do that one day .

Thanks for the offer...I've been known to top a few. I use to cut tops out of my BL's moms place. The Chistmas trees got out of hand. Sparse at the bottom and sides from getting to big and crowded. The first one I cut was huge, I was living in a log cabin. It was over 13 ft and had pine cones all over it. We dressed it in silver and blue balls ,blue and silver garlin and tinsile. Then put blue lights on it. We kept running out of lights...Hard to guesstamate how many lights a tree like that would take... Have a Very Merry Christmas Everyone...MTP

Bryce - looks great!!!!!!!!

How many acres is that field? Oats for hay or are you going to combine - what is the end goal for the field?

Nice work!

Thanks,
Bill

Currently, this is the biggest field of mine. It is 7 acres, however I grabbed another one last week, and it will be 9, but I have a lot of stump/tree removal to get it going again!

My "plan" for this next year was Oat Hay everywhere (7+5+2 acres). However now that I have those two AC Combines, and one of them being pretty much operable, I am really thinking about a grain.

I have a guaranteed buyer for all of the rye I can produce, but I don't know if I can grow that starting out in the spring. Barley, I would be able to sell a good bit of, and Wheat, I could probably sell on my own.

Just need to do some research, and see what I can do! ;)

I took the muffler off one of my 400s, so I could park it in a lean to shed. It wasn't much louder without the muffler. It is a smooooth running engine.

(quoted from post at 12:32:32 12/14/15) Can you increase the blade angle on either disc, use that one in front? Cut a little deeper.

12 footer behind an M..... prolly can't set it much deeper and keep the forward motion.....

In my ground 10 is all ya want, 8 is better if ya set deep.

Hello Bryce, I was pondering a similar setup to what you seem to be putting together up in your area. I think my email is open, would like to learn more about your process and setup.
