Pete - saw the picture of your JD B and plow. How do you like that style of tire chains? I need to buy a new set and have been debating between double rings and the style you have.

Hi Tim,
Mine are Duo-Grip from tirechains.com. They're a little bit more money than double ring but have 3/8 in. cross chains compared to 5/16 in. on the double rings. They've worked real good for me. If you have a lot of lug height on your tires the Duo-Grips don't drop in between the lugs like double rings might.

Thanks Pete. I am also looking at that web site and trying to decide what to order. I have narrowed it down to the same double rings I have used forever, and the DUO Grips like yours. Kinda hate to give up on something I've had so long, but the DUO-Grips do seem like a better solution. My tires are almost new.
