I was just wondering, this may sound strange but,
were do you or your wives keep your coffee grinds,
in a cabinit or the fridge or freezer? Just thought I'd
ask what was best for the coffee grinds.

I just keep em in the can they came from the store in. They sit on the counter top right beside the coffee maker.

Since a pound of coffee will last me over a year, I keep it in the freezer. It lasts a year because I don't drink coffee but keep it around for company that does.

I keep the everyday Folgers it in the cupboard.

If I buy freshly ground coffee, I keep it in the refrigerator.

Not sure of my rhyme or reason... LOL

Cupboard in a sealed container. Was told the refrigerator would dry out the coffee due to low humidity. Google it if you want more info.

I do not drink coffee but both my wives were/are coffee hounds. They both said the refrigerator would dry it out so they just kept it in an air tight container at room temperature.

Old. I thought all old Navy guys drank coffee. I never drank coffee until I entered the Navy. The Navy got me hooked on coffee. We had a guy in our work area, his job was to run the coffee mess. Stan

(quoted from post at 20:39:50 01/10/16) Keep it in the cupboard. The rate I use it, it doesn't get stale................

Amen to that - gotta have it!!! 8)

If I drink coffee I can end up in the hospital fast I am very allergic to the stuff. Drink so much as a shot glass and my temp will sky rocket. I always hated it when it was my turn to make the stuff then one day I asked why i had to make coffee and was told well you drink it don't you and I said Heck no I do not so from then on I did not have to make it any more

They say those who drink coffee will live a long and healthy life? Guys like me who can not drink the stuff because it does not agree with me well then I guess I am going to live a happy short life L.O.L. Back when I was a kid I knew this guy who garden organic. He would go threw every bodys trash can in my block and dump it in his back yard for his summer garden (I know crazy).

I'm with you, o p.

Buy it and open it and MAKE COFFEE, and enjoy it before it's gone, then buy some more. NO "getting stale" here!

Since I retired 6 years ago, I am always home most of the time, and three area farmers, and one cattle trader, stop in quite often, for coffee, and BS. My BUNN maker, is always on, and 3 lbs. of coffee doesn't last long enough to go stale. I just might as well open it up to the YT community, and add more chairs.( Did you catch that Lenord wd45?) One mile north of McKenna, on 507, 1st outfit ,on the right, up 332nd.

My wife buys coffee beans, puts them in cupboard, then has a little grinder and grinds it fresh, makes a bolder tasting coffee, but I quit drinking the stuff 2 years ago!
