L218 New Holland Skid Steer heat

New to me 2013 skid steer L218 new holland the blower fan doesn't work. It worked when I picked it up as previous owner had it on high. Went to take it off the trailer, turned fan off to start it now it doesnt work.

I checked the HVAC fuse in the panel by left foot and that is ok. Is there a resistor pack (like a car)? I wouldn't think it is that as I should get one of the other speeds. Seems odd that the switch would be bad. Anybody more knowledgeable with ideas on what to look for. thks

I would get to the fan motor itself and pull it out and check it out hooked directly to a battery. Probably a bad motor. My car did the same thing to me a week before Christmas. Fan worked when I shut the engine off. Next day it didn't work. Bad resistor and motor.

Before you go too far, Try the blower on the highest speed. That usually is full voltage and slower speeds are with a resistor which often go bad.

ran out of time. Fuses are all good. I have 12 volts coming to the end of the wiring harness. Didnt have a chance to run 12v directly to the fan. I did notice that the connection from the wiring harness to the fan plug was a little black like a bad connection.

Tonight will run 12 directly to the fan, if that works I will cut the bad plugs off and solder together. Hopefully that is all it is and not the blower motor.
