nice old farmers market

My wife has some vacation time ,she had a day off yesterday.We went to a Farmers market in Leesport PA. I know some people on the site here know of it.My wife never gets much time off during the week so she had never been there.Its a place that has been there a long time.There is a livestock sale there every weds along with an inside/outside flea market and a farmers market.We enjoyed it,it was a nice way to spend a day,This was in PA.Is there similar places in other states?
 
Farmers Markets here in AZ are mostly commercial booths. Very few people growing anything to bring to market.

Son & DIL have really good farmers markets in Adelaide; they just have to decide which one that they want to go to.
 
there was some local,and a lot brought in,,one stand had all stuff they grew,everything in that stand they grew on their farm,some had mixtures,some was all brought in,,
 
We have a few small "Farmers Markets" here in Southside Virginia, however I do loose respect for them when I see bananas for sale!!

Around these parts, well, there are Asian (Hmong perhaps) gardeners that are borderline farmers. They are diligently working the grounds to raise all manner of vegetables to sell roadside or at an organized farmers market.

I drive by them working the fields by hand. Admiration for the amount of work they do is understated.
