Thats good or thats bad

One's quality of life is directly related to their attitude.
Some see the poop and others start looking for the horse.
Yesterday, I noticed that my car seemed to have a very unhappy tire on it. Earlier, I had the two front wheels off for balancing and thought that one of them might be loose. The size 13 check showed that they were still tight. I calmly caressed the rear tires trying to make them feel better. The split in the tread convinced me that the tire was beyond my ability to ease its trouble. I drove home a little slower than normal. Thirty minutes after I parked it in the garage, the tire was half flat. So of course I changed it.

It snowed most of today and the snow was heavy. Thank goodness I was not driving in bad conditions with a second rate tire.
That's the good of it.
It's kind of like a cloudy day. Just because you do not see the sun, doesn't mean it isn't there.
Have a good week guys

That's a good way to look at it SDE. I am pretty forgiving most of the time with an even temper. Sometimes I get a little wound up when everything seems to be attacking what progress I make. I always tell my wife to quit worrying about things, it won't change them, and there are much more important things to deal with than what she is worrying about.

Ain't that the truth!
At least you were paying attention and checked them.
No one was left stranded on the side of the road due to a flat.
You didn't have a blow out and run off the road, or worse.
Count the blessings along the way.

The tires on our car were noisy from being cupped complained to dealer and asked about warrenty on tires, they said no it is out of alignment (they do the maintenance). Had it aligned and four new tires before trip to see daughter and SIL. Car rode nice and quiet. I don't mind buying the tires for the peace of mind and quiet 1400 mile round trip.

So true SDE. I have posted a number of times to bad luck threads about how lucky they were that far worse did not happen.

I am also a worry worght, mainly about finances although we are much better off now than 20yrs ago. Wife doesn't worry all that much.

Very true. I use the line "if that's as bad as the day gets, we're fine" but it's still awful hard some days to keep an even keel

1 I never loose my temper, it is always right there when I need it.

2 If you need patience, come to me, I've got plenty, I never use it.

3 Some see manure, but to me it's all fertilizer.

4 I'm scared of horses, I'm afraid they'll take all my money.
