It was too good to be true. I picked up a Canon D340 printer for $10. The crate the guy had built for it was worth more than that, so nothing lost on a $10 gamble. The problem is the driver will not recognize the USB that it is plugged into. I called Canon. Out of warranty so they want $150 just to look into it. Any idea?

When I got a used Hewlett-Packard printer I had to pay 9 dollars for the operating disc. It was free but my computer would not do the download. Once I installed the disc it worked.
