No tractor work, darn weather

I had the MH44 engine ready to touch up last week before I left, weather is just to bad this weekend to do it. I can paint outside if warm and dry, or inside if the wind is blowing out the big door. The wind would have blown the overspray back into the shop today, and was pouring to boot.

OK, lets try this picture

Yea I understand your problem. That is why a lot of things in my shop have red overspray on them. It's not the worst thing to have to live with.

It is not good if the things are not supposed to have red on them, I spent about 3 days rubbing my boat clear coat out.

Should of throwed a tarp over the boat.

That sounds like me. I reworked an old bent up grader blade Friday and added some bracing and got it to looking pretty spiffy. Late in the day it's only about 50 degrees out and a little cloudy, but I thought, hey, I think I'll give it a good coat of Van Sickle 8N Ford red. Got it all done with a few runs (cold metal and paint) but it looked pretty good. Woke up Saturday morning and it was so foggy you couldn't see 150 feet. It's been raining ever since and that paint don't have one lick of shine to it anywhere. Looks like flat red!! Oh well. I think it will be dry about Wednesday!!
