I decided I m not interested in the chinese tractor,,my brother did make a very reasonable offer, but I Read a lot about them,,lots of trouble,,,I Hope he sells them,I Hate to see them sit outside,,,when I Was researching, among some of the many, many complaints were rapid deteriation of the plastic parts and the paint fading and peeling off

if they sit outside another winter that wont be good

it did seem like it would be fun to play with,,but I researched a lot of horror stories,he can sell it for more than he offered it to me for so hes not going to be dissapointed.Idont think I need it at any price.

Good decision, I wouldent worry your self about
them sitting outside, they belong there or back in
china! Lol, they won't be around as long as your
Fords have been.

larry,

I dunno, a lot about those tractors, but having a complete "spare" tractor, in addition to a good price, well, I'd do some quick math and see if it paid for itself.

I am not long on the thought of having china-made nightmares, but the tractors seem decent.

If they set outside too long, perhaps the scrap man will take them and the contents will be shipped to China where they will be made into Chinese tractors.
Ironic, isn't it?

they are brand new never used, but Im not good at fixing stuff, its one of my weaknesses.Everything I read about them says you better be very good at fixing stuff if you own one...lol My brother can fix stuff, but he is so busy it would be a long time broken. If I dont like the tractor,I cant resell it,it wouldnt be right,He should sell it for maximum he can get right now.Iam going to get him some tarps in the meanwhile.

you are so right, I have the same thought too,And hopefully he sells them soon. Its my brother,he asked me if I was interested . Im gonna tarp them for him.

They must deteriorate fast! Just look at the one on the right, tires rotted off, seat gone, battery holder gone. WOW LOL.

A good High School friend of mine who is always chasing a dream, never had a solid job or income,,got into a franchise for China tractors CKY I think was the name on them,, He asked me if I would do warranty repairs on them here,,,I said "NO"...then he asked if he could use my loading dock,,to unload semis,,I said yes if they were out of here in 3 days,,so one load came in 50-60 HP with loaders,,Wow what junk they were, they vibrated horribly..flimsy junk. He sold one, not sure what happened to the other 3,,the whole deal went bust. It seemed that the importer in Texas would pull a few of the new tractors out back and use them for parts,,that was the parts system...The importer told my friend that the Texas Highway department was using them with out any trouble mowing roads,, this was not true. Very little merchandise from China is any good at all,,one should be wary of a country that calls it's ships "Junks".. There are a few different China tractors setting around this area in the weeds,,mostly were owned by Horse people,,wanting a cheap deal...

Something to add about parts availability, and using a spare tractor for parts....
Consider: You have a Chinese tractor, and while still "new" and not yet broken in, it breaks a part.
So, you take that part off your "parts" tractor. What if that part failure was the result of poorly made or poor design? So, the part you replace it with also breaks. Now what? Now you have one part broken with a similarly defective part replacing it, and now BOTH parts are broken and there are no replacements in sight.
