Makeing work

Now it's not like I do not have enough to do.
The last thing I need is to be making work.

Was pulling all the top soil off my new garage site.

When I hit a old tree root or stump;
And the tires got good traction;
And this is the results.....

Hate to see how bad it would have been if I were not in 1st gear.

Alot of those smaller pieces of equipment work very well, but just aren't built very strong. A little reinforcing goes a long way on some of that stuff. I had a 3 point boom from TSC, one of them chincy cheap built ones. I wouldn't have bought it, I already have 2 very well built homemade ones. But, this one came with a tractor I bought, so I tossed it on o e of our light duty utility tractors. When I folded it up like a pretzel, I was not surprised, but I was however, surprised at how thin the tubing was that it was made of.

"That's not a legal rig in Michigan, lead trailer has to be a fifth wheel."

It also has to be a trailer designed as living quarters and you
need an "R" endorsement on your license or a "T" endorsement
on a class A CDL.
Laws vary from state to state though so maybe its fine there?

Yes I can not use this rig in some states.
AZ, IL, MI, and MN have the must be 5th wheel law.
The east coast is no doubles at all
Some are max length 55 feet so I am to long
And a few I have to lower the outboard to get under the 65 feet max law.
I also have a X endorsement on my CDL to cover me in the states that require a special license.

But here in Louisiana this is legal as I am well under 70 feet long.

This post reminds me of he guy with the TO-30 with the bucket that is in dump position unless he keeps it all the way up as he drives it around. Haven't seen him post in months. He must not have survived his project.
