That ol' turkey hasn't gotten itself into the oven yet... we're doing a supper time meal. Just us and our teen daughter today - we'll get together with all of our kids/grandkids in the near future.

When we were young we disliked trying to get together with both "sides" on the same day. So we just always tell them to get together with their "other" family on the actual holiday and we'll do it on a weekend hear the holiday. To us, the important part is the "getting together" for a meal/visiting... not the "when" we do it.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. House is full of kids and grandkids. The boys and I hauled 11 loads of firewood to the house and stacked it. Granddaughters boyfriend helped too, so now he's an official family member now. It's kind of a rite of passage here. My best wishes for a great Christmas season too.
 
Same to you.......the Holidays are the only time of the year you can say that to someone and it is ok lol. ;)
