John Deere 3 Series Tractor

Does anyone own a John Deere 3 series tractor, such as a 3032E or 3038E? I am curious how they ride in the field when pulling a mower or using with a loader.

I have a friend with a 3032E with 305 loader. It's a pretty handy little unit, rides good on road or in pasture with 5' rotary cutter. She's also got post auger and tiller for it. It's a little frustrating if you don't have another tractor, it's just big enough to not feel like a lawnmower but not a real tractor. If you order a new one get the R1 tires unless you plan on using it on the yard a lot, the R4 tires plug with mud and you get all 4 wheels spinning pretty easy.

I have a 3038E with 15 hours on it. Need weight on the back using the loader. Seems to ride well going back and forth. Will see how the snow blower works this winter. Ron Mn

A "Tinker Toy"...they aren't very tuff, I see a lot of them broke in two from loader work...

have had a 3032e for over 3 years, little over 200 hours and one of the best buys i have ever made, bad thing is the newer ones have emissions on them, luckily got mine before that,it is one very handy tractor.

I have a new 3046r. Bought it new this spring and love it but I knew I would. I have had a 4310 compact for the last 5 years. I own about 6 acres mow 4 and a half. Have a 72 inch belly mower and loader. Plus many other implements. Fertilizer spreader, rototiller, rear rotary cutter and snow blower. Couldn't be with out it.

No connection to this but found it on Craigslist this morning. $3800 seems like a good price even if you have to put new R1 or R4 tires on it. The turf tires have some take-off value.
